Evangelistic Christian Coalition
Evangelism, Unity, Faith, & Obedience
Psalms 133; John 17: 17-24
Vision Statement:
The ECC was a vision formed by Bishop Q. L. Bell, Senior Pastor of New Degree Praise Center Church in January 2003. The Coalition was formed to unify the body of Christ, to break down the bearer of denomination, uniting God's people together for one common cause, to Evangelize. Bishop Q. L. Bell formed the Coalition on the vision that God had given him. The vision for the ECC is to evangelize, show love and support to each other, to reach out to the lost. The ECC is a non-ethnic, non-denominational coalition who sees race as no bearer. The ECC meets every 1st Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m., the location to be announced at each meeting. Each ministry takes a turn in hosting the meeting and this is how the meeting place is decided. The Coalition is made up of several diverse groups of ministries and lay people.
Some of the activities of the Coalition are, Monthly meetings, Prayer Walks when scheduled, support in appreciation services, yearly banquet, yearly conference, Coalition choir with combined ministries and awesome fellowship. The ECC welcomes any ministry that would like to learn more about the Coalition to come and set in one of the meeting and feel the love that is generated from this awesome group of believers.

As Christian's, we should focus on our common belief and love in Christ Jesus? My Bible says "'…Love your neighbor…".
We firmly believe in the "Great Commission" that tells us: to GO into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone, to fellowship with one another, to make disciples, and to become imitators of Jesus. We have determined to take the Gospel outside the church walls to the places where the lost can be found and forgiven. Our outreach teams are making great strides in accomplishing what God has called us all to do - to "Go forth".

The Greatest Commandment
34) Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35) One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
36) "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37) Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[b] 38) This is the first and greatest commandment. 39) And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[c] 40) All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Starting a Greeter Program
Four years ago I accepted the challenge of evangelism chairperson for our church. One of the first programs the pastor and I developed was the Sunday morning greeter program. -
Motivating the Right Person into the Right Ministry
One of the greatest challenges for most leaders is selecting and motivating the right people into the right ministry positions in hopes of minimizing turnover and frustration. Even in the smaller church with limited personnel, it is important to coordinate people and ministry as much as possible. -
“I TRIED, BUT NO ONE EVER CALLED ME”
“I tried, but no one ever called me” are painful words for a leader who has much work to do and not enough people willing to do it. These words are painful for the person who wanted to contribute, but was never called. These are also painful words for a person who is committed to helping people connect and contribute in meaningful ways within the church.
